Management

David Meyer has been involved in pork production since graduating from South Dakota State University in 1978 with an animal science degree. He was employed by a purebred swine association prior to starting his own purebred operation in 1981. As the swine industry specialized and expanded to capture efficiency, his focus shifted to commercial pork production. David assumes the risk management and feed responsibilities for Crosscut.

Cody Meyer has been involved in multiple facets of the pork industry since 2009.  He has management experience in both breed-to-wean and wean-to finish sectors.  Following graduation from Texas Tech University with a mechanical engineering degree,  Cody returned to the pork industry and assumed employment with a large integrator traveling to numerous sites and troubleshooting production inefficiencies.  He continues to focus on production oversight at a multi-site level and assumes this role for Crosscut.
